Those of you who can get hold of a copy - take a look at the UK version of PC Zone (issue 116). What's that tucked in on the bottom right of page 121? Yep, A Freespace article...
It's not the source code announcement mind - I'm sending them an email on that later today. No, this one's all about The Babylon Project. Let's take a look at this piece of "accurate" information...

Check out the above URL which is home to the Babylon Project, where everythign to do with Babylonian combat is brought to the world of Freespace 2. The team is currently working on release 2 of the mod, and you can find regular updates on the website.
Riiight, all good and well except for two small problems. Firstly they haven't even finished release one of the full mod. They're on demo two. Secondly it's not the site that gets the regular updates but the forums....
Why am I splitting hairs over this? Not sure really... it's FS news in a major magasince which is nice, but I feel sorry for the TBP team if they have to constantly explain that they haven't finished an official release yet! ;)

Mags arent just for their DVDs, other stuff too :p

I just stopped playing demos, now that my f*****g low-end machine cannot even run JKII. :( , plus they're too expensive to give out the money every month for a magazine, and demos, which I could as well download from the Net.

I used to buy PC Zone. The I decided I was never really doing much with it, and started buying NME. Now NME has gone all crappy, and in addition I've got the last three weeks' issues that I haven't yet read.
No time...exams...arrgh... :(

I subscribe to the Finnish "Pelit"(that's "games" in english :) ) Which is simply the best gaming magazine out there, at least compared to **** like PC zone, PC Lamer etc.
Too bad you folks just can't read it :p

The only one I used to buy was called "Fullgames", and always came with a CD full of demos and one with a complete game. Shame the quality of the games dropped, or else I'd still be getting it...
