I came across a video the demo's WiH's game play (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QFSTWPpXIvs&feature=related), but I've got to ask, how do you look around like that?

Oh.  Don't you need to take an IR filter off a web camera or something for that?

I'm not sure how it's done in commercial headtracking rigs, but I believe a few HLP members have built their own.

That site will tell you what cameras are good to use, how to arrange and assemble your rig, etc.

It'll be a breeze with even minimal knowledge and experience with electronics. Though if you need help feel free to ask here or catch one of us on IRC. AFAIK, Herra, mura, and myself have made freetrack rigs, and there are a few other IRC regulars who know their stuff and would be willing to help. :)
