Title: more than 6-7 sub systems on playerships

looking at the code for a way to disable more than 6 subsystems damage on the HUD. This just occured to me.

You know how ppl have complained about the game chrashing when they had more than 6 or 7 subsystems on a Player ship.

Some ppl even converted CAP ships with a lot more than 7 subsystems onboard.

time and time again i have read that this is when the game tries to draw more than 6 subsystems into the pop up damage box.

I jsut figured, You can disable the damage pop up from with in options in the barracks.

I dont have a player ship, with more subsystems than 6 so i would like to know if any of you have tried this, exspecially you who have does Cap ship player mods.

ahmm no, i mean, the player can disable the DMG pop up from with in the game in barracks, options and hud config select DMG popup and click off.

That's an interesting idea; if it has something to do with the hud, this is good way to check it. :nod:

another way to check it would be to put 5 turrets and no other subsystems on a player ship and see if that works.  It may have to do with targeting.
