I may be getting a new computer soon, and since it is windows 7, it will be 64 bit.
Just for clarification, are there are 64 bit builds? If so, where can I find them? Do I just use an SSE2 build?
-
There are no 64-bit builds for Windows (and no urgent need to create them), so just use SSE2 builds.
-
32-bit builds work fine on my 64-bit system.
-
Really? Ok cool, thanks
-
I never had a problem with a 32 bit app/game on 64 bit windows. FS2 related projects included.
-
Runs flawlessly for me on Win7 64bit.

I play it on Vista 64bit and on Win7 64bit - never had problems. Not retail not SCP. All running great

The question "Why?" comes to mind.
-
Well, the question has been answered, and several people reported they haven't had any problem with 32-bit builds on 64-bit system.
Of course, we can also let this thread die "naturally".

Threads around here only get locked if they've degraded into messy derailments and ad hominems.
