Title: inSANE
Post by: Hades on December 14, 2010, 04:49:08 pm
Looks as though Volition's confirmed a new horror game called inSANE (http://www.insanegame.com/).

What's interesting is that Secret Project X is still up in the games sections. Hmm...

What an informative trailer.

Any speculation as to what the game will be like?

When are we going to have a sequel to Eternal Darkness??

Few things can beat Penumbra... From watching the Let's Play of Amnesia, or at least part of it, few things could hope to beat that either.

If they can beat those two, they really need to get into another venue. People are sick...  :shaking:

As much as I love Guillermo del Toro I am dubious of his (and Volition's) ability to deliver a good horror game. I guess in three years' time we'll find out!

Also apparently this is being billed as a trilogy. Seems a bit premature.

From what I've heard/seen, Penumbra is actually pretty bad as a game. I hope :V: puts up a more informative trailer soon though.

I never got this impression at all. I just can't stomach playing horror games myself, so I settled for watching the Let's Plays thereof (Helloween4545 does a great job in that regard). I've got to say that if nothing else, the game has an awesome physics engine, and I was really impressed with the flexibility it provided the player with in solving problems.
