What do you think, is this a good inspiration for an escape pod?

Perhaps as something not intended for in-space recovery; aka space-to-ground lifeboats.

Eh, i think the Ra is doing the job well, as Zod philosophy is only to send out the data and die... Their escape pods are never meant to even jump out, they are sort of the ship's black box/flight recorder.
