It's rare that anything like this actually phases me emotionally, but this did!

We posted this on IRC and played it through a while back. It's all right, and I admire the 'no replays' ethos, but the writing put so little effort into being good that it undercut the message. A nice experimental title but not quite all there.

Um, so I assume if I had opted to go with the coworker or to the park with Molly I would have failed?

There isn't really 'failure' or 'success', just...outcomes.

Note: This isn't actually a game.

Well i made some mistakes, such as caring when some1 was going to jump which cost me a whole day.

I didnt go with co workers to celebrate.

I cheated on my wife, and she died by the time I got home :P kinda rubbed it in. Suicided actually.
Tried last several days to work, even tho I wanted to take kid to park last day.
Died in a cold , dark, grey lab. Was a sad end.
I put in some good lab time tho, just was short a day or two. I wana replay.

One of the game's bigger flaws is the fact that the only thing you can do on the second day is watch the suicide.

The biggest flaw is that all of the outcomes are either / or.  I get that that's sort of the point, but it ruins the effect.

Oh, apparently (i.e., I've heard that), if you revisit it later, the background scenery changes depending on your outcome.

Apparently, to survive, you have to be Gordon Freeman and go to the lab every day despite the blood and corpses everywhere.

i've got no idea what i did.  i guess i'm dead since i'm at the park sitting with my eyes closed and nothing works.  i walked around everywhere to see what all was there, but apparantly that made my choice for me instead of being able to go back :/

meh.

Look at the first comment under the game, you can restart it using those steps.

John and Molly survived after finding the cure.

Molly actually died, apperently.

I went to the park last day, when it says that I 'had one chance', and died together with my daughter.
