Title: Need a short, 'professional' domain name. help me think of one

Need to register a domain name for my boss, for his personal email.  He doesn't want something cheesy like *firstname*@*lastname*.com, he wants it to sound like a legitimate service.  However, since he needs Hosted Exchange, he'll also need a seperate domain name, so he can't just sign up @gmail.com.

Needs to be short and sound good.  like "inmail.com" or "sherweb.com"

Anyone help me think of an available (keyword) domain name?

Not at all - it's for personal use, but since he plans on doing some business through it, he doesn't want it to be some cheesy "[email protected]"

basically he wants it to sound like it's just a regular mail hosting company...but he needs it to belong to him since he's going to run hosted exchange on it

In that same strain, fit in as many buzzwords as possible. See if you can fit in agile, paradigm shift, cloud computing, web 2.0 and other IT nonsense :P

otherwise good suggestion.  the others, not so much.

The last two are kinda off, you'd have to own the starfleet or imperialfleet domains first to have a email domain of 3rd grade... Not that thosesound pro, more like sci fi fan...

And you may want to check some whoIs service before you suggest something...

Awww, a sensible suggestion.

imperialfleet.com doesn't resolve to any domain, although imperial-fleet.com is a registered domain.

Figuring out a short sensible domain isn't very easy any more, there aren't too many english nouns or adjectives left unused I think.

Do you have to use .com? There are other 1st grade domains, even cheaper ones... Try something.name or something.info, those fit the personal use.
