This is a short little .tbm that adds autoaim to ships in the main Freespace 2 campaign. All ships have it set for 5 degrees, and it doesn't work closer than 300 meters. If you can't hit the broad side of a barn this won't help you, but if that last Dragon is flying all over the place you MIGHT be able to hit it now. I know this seems asinine, but I made it for myself and figured at least ONE person might want it too. :P
I made it because when using WiH post-processing (the stuff from the test thread) my game starts to get a bit "laggy". The FPS stays nearly exactly the same, but the game seems a bit "off". It's most noticeable when I'm trying to shoot down hostile fighters with primaries. I can never seem to get a hit in on maneuverable ones because there appears to be a very small delay between my actions and what shows up on screen. I assume this is just my graphics card being slow to apply the post processing, as when I turn it off I'm back to being accurate. Since the FPS stays the same, I have no way to explain this...
Anyway, if anybody happens to be having the same problem, or wants this for any other reason, here ya go. 5 minutes of your life that you can spend doing something else. :D

EDIT: Updated, I forgot to add to Ptah.

hmmm, interesting
/me heads off to poke the file some and see what happens

This scares me. :shaking: Hate it when people use aimbots in games. :P

Meh, it doesn't help as much as you'd think. My joystick is a piece of crap as well, so a tiny bit of help makes the game more fun for me to play. :)
And like I said, I have no need to use it when post processing is turned off. :nervous:

:shaking: I've seen so many heated discussions on the difference between autoaim and aimbots.
