Title: New player wanting to say hi

I just wanted to drop by and say hello and thank you for all the hard work you guys have done, especially with the instructions for getting it to run on a mac. I actually had never played freespace 1 or 2 before I found out about fs2_open but I love space games (I played eve and vendetta online) anyways hopefully once I learn the controls well enough I will see you guys in some multiplayer games.

Odd thing is, I rarely hear the mention of FreeSpace multiplayer. Why?

Multiplay tends to be handled on the IRC channel and is very informal, good times though
