It's the ****. Go see it. I highly recommend it.
-
It runs in the cinema right now. I'll go see it soon.
**** eh? Come oooooon dude. It's spider man. It's supposed to be ****. :p
-
I plan to. :)
Interestingly enough, Spiderman opens after Star Wars here. *next month that is*
-
Eh, I was looking forward to Spiderman (and MiB II) more than SW II. Anyhow.
-
I dunno. I might go see it. Overall, I'm way too tired of all the hype around another action-packed effects-filled comic-based film, so I dunno.
-
Its not about hype...its about if you want to see a movie or not.
I've got SWII, MiB2, and Spiderman all on my list. Not because they are popular but because I want to see them. If only 6 people went to see each of those movies (and provided they were exactly the same as they are) I would be one of those 6.
Hype doesn't really play a part in it.
-
mmh... The Two Towers is the only movie I plan to go and see on theater. The others I'll grab them on Kazaa :p
-
*breaks into song*
Spiderman, Spiderman,
Clings to walls like no one can.
Spins a web, any size.
Gets trodden on and then he dies.
Ahem...
Anyways, I'm looking forward to both SW ep2 and Spidey. I'm glad to hear you liked it Shrike
-
Very good movie. Ending was a little weak, but the rest of the film was excellent. Leaves an opening for a sequel, too!
And I've gotta say that Kirsten Dunst is a very good MJ...very good indeed! :p
Anyway, I'd definitley recommend it.
-
She doesn't seem MJ enough to me.
-
Yah, Spidey was good. What I say now I'll put in black in case anything you hear about a movie you consider a spoiler. I don't think this is but you might.
And (obviously) the end left it soooooooooo open for a sequel. And that was quite an attempt at the end to make it look patriotic when the last thing you see is him on top of the Empire State Building with the american flag above his head.
You guys know the had to reshoot almost the entire movie (and especially that last part) because of 9/11 right? Cuz he was supposed to be bouncing off the World Trade Centers in the end...
Yeah. Next I wanna see MIB2, SWII, and Austin Powers III: Austin Powers in Goldmember. :yes2::D:yes:
Heheh. You know the people who own the rights to James Bond sued the people who own the rights to Austin Powers because they thought Goldmember was too close to Goldfinger? Wierd.
EDIT: I know (if you read the black text) that I repeated some of what Slammer jut said but that's cuz I was still typing when he posted....

What about Blade2?
an0n's movie seeing list
[list=1]- Star Wars 2
- Blade 2
- Spiderman
[/b]
-
As soon as it comes here... I'll go and see it. Most definetly
-
Two weeks to go here...
-
MiB and Attack of the Clones look good. I've never been a fan of Spiderman, Superman could kick his butt any day of the week :p
-
Bah, Superman is ghey. :D :p
-
bah a Jedi could kill both. Roll on AOTC.
-
Bah, Spidey could kick any silly jedi's ass. :D
-
Superman doesn't have that power and responsiblity theme too much. The newer Spiderman always appealed to me. It had some brains and some guts to talk about things.
Jedi are pretty ultimate. Force powers encompass everything. Telekenisis, telepathic (limited), elemental (in the case of the Sith), and foresight that lets them feel the future. Thats pretty ultimate.

yeah, but yet they can die or be beaten. At the end, spidey always win ;7
now that you can't beat :D
-
The Jedi get my vote, they could just mind-trick spiderman into jumping off a cliff or something... not much contest ;)

Gee, I wouldn't have thought of that...
anyway, I would put my money on the Jedi as well. Superman may have his ultra-strength, but he can't beat a good lightsaber chop, anything batman can throw at a Jedi, will be deflected by some cool force power, or by the lightsaber, and spidey... well, what CAN he do?
-
Spider man - He can tie people up (not effective against any of the other superheroes). He can use his spidey senses to dodge opponents (useless against superman). Clever, can make synthetic cryptonite and Force suppresants.
Superman - Strong, can beat the living **** outta people (Jedi can chop off his hands or use The Force to stop the blood to his brain/arms/whatever). Fast, can dodge or attack anyone so damn fast they don't know what hit 'em (Jedi and Spiderman might be able to dodge).
Batman - He can.....err.....Punch people. Useless against everyone except maybe the Jedi.
Jedi - Can predict danger, deflect projectiles, slice restraints, kill enemies by screwing with their heads, slice anyone to ribbons.
All in all the Jedi ****ing rawk.
-
The Jedi beat everybody except for Austin Powers who would use his mojo to negate the Force and then just beat the Jedi to death. :D

Lets not forget that the Jedi have space-ships. They could waste his ass from orbit.
-
The Jedi spaceships don't have weapons! :ha:

They do if they Jedi is swaying toward the dark-side.
Anyway, who said they'd be in a Jedi built ship? They coulda stole an SSD.
-
The next person to post here is my ***** from now on.
-
Well if they were lightside they wouln't orbital bombard a planet just to kill one guy. And even so, then Austin would steal Dr. Evil's "laser" and use it against them.
NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF THE MOJO! :D
-
Haha. 0wned.

You post too fast. SPAMMER! ;)

Hmmm everyone seems to have neglected the fact that a Jedi would never kill Spidey or Superman considering that both acts would be amoral.
Anyway this is a good example of the 'my hero can beat your hero's ass' argument and usually ends in stupidity. Superman could just join the empire, get trained in the sith arts and wipe out planets by throwing small moons at them and he'd have the force to shield him from any Jedi force attacks meanwhile spiderman can start a multinational that pumps burgers full of LSD and take over the entire humanoid universe that way...
Am I making any kind of point here?
-
But imagine what Austin Powers would do if HE could use the Force. ;7;7;7;7;7;7

Outch! Poor women. :D
-
uh...who is Austin Powers? (sorry if this is a dumb question :p) I have heard of Spiderman, Superman and Jedis but not this guy...

C'mon, you could have figured THAT out yourself...
-
OMG are you saying you've never seen or even heard of AUSTIN POWERS?

This is CP we're talking about here. He'd rather watch a documentary on pi than watch Austin Powers.
SWINGIN' SIXTIES HERE I COME BABY YEAH! :D
-
Actually, if it's amoral, nobody would have more than the most vague, nebulous problems with it. If it was immoral...

I just came back from this movie, and all I have to say is: :yes2:  . That movie was friggin' AWESOME! It's one of my top favorites! The only moavies that beat it are LOTR, The Matrix, Akira, and the SW Trilogy (no, not that Episode I crap!).

It seems people cannot handle the fact SW is for younger children..
-
Is it faithful to the comic books?
I mean, from the previews, it looks like Rambow in a spidey costume :(
EDIT: Zeronet, you're gonnaw get fryed for that:D Not by me (I'm a ST nut), but you will get fried :D;)
-
Back to SPIDERMAN (which is the topic)....
I saw the movie last night. It was fantastic. The music, the plot, the characters...just a fantastic creation! Very nicely done, and not a peachy and happy ending either. There is still conflict and still problems yet to be resolved. Wow....just amazing!

you're right; should have thought of trying a google search or something, but at least I got an answer anyway. :D That site is weird BTW... :wtf: :wtf:
OMG are you saying you've never seen or even heard of AUSTIN POWERS?
uh...is this one of those popular things that I should be knowing about? :p
He'd rather watch a documentary on pi than watch Austin Powers.
Of course! (http://mathworld.wolfram.com/Pi.html) p, e, g and all of those other irrational constants that come up everywhere have to be some of the coolest things in the world... ;7 :D
-
Spiderman was not very accurate to the comics. i won't list everything here, beacuse it would task to long. as was said earlier, the ending was a little weak, but all in all a good movie.
btw, it's breaking box office records
-
I think I'll go see it, from what I read, it's an ok movie, but could have had so much done to improve it
-

people always say that. people always forget a movie costs a lot, and is long to do. people should try and get some infos, before criticizing.
