Title: Alliance Fights Back: is it compatible with media vps 3.6.12?

hi boys,
I'm playing to Alliance Fights Back mod. so It start only fsport, but when I start through fsport-mediavps (to activate media 3.6.12) the game freezes  :(.
why?

The mod is completely compatible with mediavps-3612.  I would need more information to determine what the problem is.  It would have to be something with the FSPort or FSPort-mediavps installation.

Post a debug log and we can solve the issue.

I solved
the freezing was caused by my video card radeon x1600 mobile, which appears to have some problems with "Normal Mapping".
I solved it by downloading http://koti.mbnet.fi/reiler/FunkyFreeSpaceStuff/atioglxx.dll (http://koti.mbnet.fi/reiler/FunkyFreeSpaceStuff/atioglxx.dll) (in main directory).

now, starting from fsport-mediaVPs, and setting launcher as the page http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php?topic=70736.0, the graphics are wonderfull, but I think the sky has few stars . Why?

You're refering to the skybox, right? I'm pretty sure it has something to do with your screen settings, because a while ago I had the same problem and complained about the new skybox not being as nice as the old one. Oh, geez. :nervous:
