Title: babylon 5 project-won't work
Post by: mmm99 on January 10, 2011, 03:11:42 am
Hi I just downloaded the babylon 5 project stand alone game and I am having trouble trying to get it to work. I think its a problem with the models as every time I start a mission it crashes and when I look at the tech room it crashes.

Please help me.

These guys should be more able to help you than the general FS Modding crowd. :)

If you haven't already download 3.6.12 and Zathras 2.0.  If it still crashes run the debug build and post the fs2_open.log from the data directory.

when I run degug it comes up with a warning window saying
Warning: Too many ship classes before 'Sinclair's Aurora'; maximum is 130, so only the first 130 will be used
File:D:\C++\Freespace\fs2_open 3.6.9 - BtRL\code\ship\Ship.cpp
Line: 2884
[This filename points to the location of a file on the computer that built this executable]

Call stack:
------------------------------------------------------------------
    parse_shiptbl()    parse_modular_table()    ship_init()    game_init()    game_main()    WinMain()    WinMainCRTStartup()    kernel32.dll 7c816fe7()
------------------------------------------------------------------
and then when I try to go to the deguger it just crashes.

Again get 3.6.12 (inferno build) and Zathras 2.0.  That waring is beacuse you aren't using 3.6.9 and a non inferno build.
