The font could be better, not that it is bad, but some other renders have had better font. The Orion has yellow beams, but there is nothing wrong with that. :) They seem to go through the Deimos, and the hole or the explosion doesn't look good.
Anyway, it's good. ;)

They're green. My mind was messing with me when I made this. Oh well, it still looks cool.

- I don't know how.
- I probably can't in 3DExplorer.
- The turrets that are firing are on the side of the ship and can't be seen.
- What does this have to do with GTVA capships? It should go for any ship with turrets!

the beam impact can use some work too, but otherwise quite nice

Eh, the beam impact. I was trying to avoid ripping an explosion ani and decided to try and make just a very bright light.

Very sharp.
I have to agree with the blow-through effects though, as it was loading it looked like the deimos was firing four beams, two from each side, from one turret.
Rendering with 3D explorer is tough. I usually just take the converted models, then add some bone structure to each moveable turret. Then boom, you can aim them at anything easily.
But still, the detail on the Orion is very nice.
