Title: Can't start the first mission in Ancient-Shivan War

I'm getting these errors if try to start the first mission of the asw

also 62 warning at start up...

anyone know what to do ? :)

Try starting the campaign with a debug build. Detailed instructions here (http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php?topic=56279.msg1180359#msg1180359). Afterwards, please post your fs2_open.log. After the issue has been solved, switch back to the build you were using before the debug build.

Did you remember to select the correct campaign from the Campaign Room?

He's got his resolution set to 640x480, I suspect? Or am I confusing my errors?

The game would have crashed before the main hall, because there is no 640x480 interface art for it.

This is the error where the game can't find the high res interface art. We used to see it all the time in the HotU days cause that was released without Sparky_hi_fs2.vp which meant that as soon as people chose 1024x768 it fell over.

Oh, okay. I'm used to seeing "Error: Could not load in main hall mask 'MainScreen-M'! (This error most likely means that you are missing required 640x480 interface art.)" whenever people try playing at 640x480.

Hmm...I don't see the mediavps there. Could you make sure you have the 3.6.12 MediaVPs downloaded and installed?

yeap they was in /mods folder fixed everything works fine now thanks guys :D

Unless you really know what you're doing, please do things the normal way: make sure that every mod is in its own subfolder under \freespace2\ . For example, ASW should be in \freespace2\ASW\ and the 3.6.12 MediaVPs should be in \freespace2\mediavps_3612\ , and so on. Don't try to use any funky \freespace2\mods\ folders.
