I wanted to get back into the game so i decided to download FS2 from GOG again, and install it on linux, i grabbed the latest linux build and all is running well, sofar.
But i also wanted to use the mediavp's, and that's where things go wrong :(

Well, the issue doesn't pop up very often and is only relevant to Linux users. Then again, perhaps it should be added. Gotta go now, but maybe later (unless someone does it in the meantime).
