Found on the Escapist page here: http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/106980-Map-of-Entire-Star-Wars-Universe-Better-Than-GPS

Thought it would at least be fun finding planets you recognise.

The geography here, particularly in regards to various offensives and diplomatic missions mentioned in the books, doesn't (and probably can't) make sense.
Also, the presence of even vaguely habitable worlds in the galactic core is giggleworthy. :P
-
I don't think that whoever came up with this realized just how big galaxies are. Seems that way to me, anyway.
-
Scale and scientific nitpicking aside, this map is a useful reference. Thanks for sharing.

I'm pretty sure it's been around for awhile.
Here is one that the team working on Phoenix Rising mod for Empire at War use:

"Alderaan" ? Jeez how old is this thing?
-
Just because the planet was destroyed doesn't mean the star system still isn't there and marked on the map as the place the planet used to be.
-
Heck, you could name it 'Alderaan Debris Field' but that'd just look odd.

If it is for a setting pre New Hope it dont matter cause the planet is still there

Ah, I remember this. Inaccurate, but fun. ;)
