So to show you all just how (in)sane I am, I had a really out-there FS dream last night. I started playing the game, and instead of the usual main hall->start mission setup, I found myself in this crazy interactive fully-3D ship setting, taking on the role of a new pilot. The strange thing was, it was apparently a Vasudan destroyer, though myself and all of the other recruits were Terran, and most of the internal architecture (flight deck aside) was fairly sane. (Apparently you use some sort of Halo-esque jump pads to move around that flight deck, if anyone was wondering.) I'm kind of fuzzy on most of what went on, though I know there was a commander leading us around to different stations for various tests and exercises and such, most of which seemed more like random mini-games than anything that would be useful for piloting. I do remember one cool hallway with interactive descriptions of all of the FS ships hanging on the walls. There was definitely some Star Wars crossover going on too, as we all had lightsabers for some reason. (I think my brain kind of recognized this, since there was a conversation that went something like: "Why laser swords?" "Why not laser swords?" Can't argue with that.) The fun thing was, even though I was in-character during the actual experience, I also recognized it as a game, and I was marveling at the quality of the modeling and voiceacting. I think I remember talking to Flipside and maybe Battuta, who were also there, about who could have contributed something that awesome.
Okay, SCP and FSU guys. You heard me. Now make it happen. :p
(Also, overeating and passing out from a food coma apparently makes you brain do really weird stuff.)

My dreams are usually derivatives of my real life. My last FreeSpace related dream involved CTDs. :P

A few years ago, I had a dream about Aeolus in deep, black nebula. That was a new system, very strange. I remember the name - Glantedoross. That was an inspiration for Shadow Genesis, and you'll see Glantedoross system ingame [but not in 1st part].
Other was a dream of Satis with head of some vasudan... But I don't remember it so much.

I had a dream about WiH once. I don't remember what happened, except that I awoke feeling the greatest despair I have ever experienced. It was pretty WTF.

I want to dream something like that, will induce myself today to see if it happens, haven't had a dream like that so far so I think it's about time for me :p

You can induce dreams?
Man, I'm envious. I have no such control, and whenever any of my dreams become lucid, they fly apart and I wake up.

No I presume I don't have that control either, but I haven't tried to force me to dream something so far.
I figured I would try some things I've been told before to see what happens.

I actually had a fs2 related dream yesterday too
but I had to reconfigure my controls, and I forgot to assign my secondaries to the right mouse button. Which caused one of the enemy ships to get away

My last FS dream involved a capship battle above Earth. OUR Earth... like FS ships just came of some wormhole, jumping trough dimensions and time.
There was an Orion that entered the atmoshpere and hovered above a city..and lots of fighter. A cool space battles with the shivans.
And then it turned into a massive crossover clusterf*** with practicly every SF ship ever joining the fray. It overloaded my mind..I woke up with a headache.
