I've got evo force. If you want i can send you my macros, but you'll have to allign them accordingly on your stick :)

That would be helpful, thanks. I've been slowly adjusting my profile one task at a time thru the training missions, slow and tedious.

i've never set up any macros.  what do you have them do?

i use an x-45, but just set it up within the FS controls config.

I use them mostly on my bomber profile. For example on one button, i have standard secondary fire, but when shifted it will do (SPACE + - + k) - Fire, arm another bank (to save time while the other has cooldown) and targets another turret on the ship.

yeah that could be useful, but it's pretty much become muscle memory to me now anyway.  i guess i could set up my target buttons to turn off the auto-turret targeting of capships at the same time.  i never liked that about FS2.

I'm acutally in the middle of redoing my setup.  I can send it to you if you want (assuming you still care).

The basic setup is as follows:
throttle is set in bands so the area past the detent activates afterburner (sends TAB), the rotaries control my power level (kinda), the hat switch concentrates shields (and controls lateral thrust when the pinky switch is held down) and the buttons balance shields and transfer power between shields and weapons.  The mouse wheel has weapon switching on it, but I might move those to the stick.

On the stick the fire button does missiles, and c fires countermeasures, the lower HAT switch is the default look mode (might change it), while the upper HAT does targeting.  In mode 1 it targets hostiles, reticule and bombs, shift targets friendlies and escorts.  In mode 2 it targets subsystems and turrets with shift allowing me to target the subsystem in my reticule as well as uninspected cargo.

I've got some profile or another in my sig.

EDIT: Whoops, sorry, it's keybindings, not a profile.  :nervous:
