Where can I find an ASW support thread or something? Or should I just post it here?
I'm not sure if I had this bug already before, but anyway, I'll post this again as I have long not played ASW.
Firstly, I downloaded ASW from sectorgame, the "everything in one pack" plus the Shuriken and radar addons. In short, all downloads in the site.
I am currently using FSO 3.6.12 and tried opening ASW using the Launcher. I used the Inferno build and it keeps saying "the mod has generated 61 errors" or something like that.
So I opened the debug version and am now posting the log.
Help, anyone?

Looks like you don't have the MediaVPs. I'm pretty sure ASW needs them.

:wtf: Erm, no. It wouldn't make sense if all mods that required the MediaVPs would actually include the MediaVPs into their downloads. You'd be redundantly downloading the same .5GB(?) many times for no apparent reason.
Around here, if the instructions say that something is required, the makers count on you to understand that you must go and get that something.

That would be the point. As instructed by the mod.ini, FSO tried to find the 3.6.12 MediaVPs in a folder called "mediavps_3612", but failed. So, if you have the 3.6.12 MediaVPs somewhere, you basically have two options:
1) Move the 3.6.12 MediaVPs into a folder called "mediavps_3612". (recommended)
2) The mod.ini of ASW should say "secondarylist = mediavps_3612". Edit that line so that the part on the right side of "=" matches the name of the folder where you have your 3.6.12 MediaVPs.
