The only reason I knew about them was because my brother saw the Artoo one on TV though.

This one (from the trailers atleast) seems more true to the original trilogy than the goody goody, organic greenpeace feel of Episode 1. And come on, it has the backround story of BOBA FETT!!!! :D

Post by: Fineus on May 06, 2002, 03:28:15 am: I agree, this ones far more "real" than the bright pretty themes running throughout Ep1, This is more like The Empire Strikes Back as near as I can tell. Dark and gritty.

That and there's a proper evil - the Empire is beginning to take shape. None of this Trade Federation Droid crap or Gungans to fight them (hell, with the Jedi in place of the Gungans it has to work ;))

:D yeah, I guess... I think she's hot, but hey.

I have to admit though, her acting in Ep1 totally sucked...I hope she acts better in Ep2

I swear! Perhaps even better. :D So guess who's coming with me to the premiere?! :D

Post by: TurboNed on May 08, 2002, 06:21:55 am: Well, folks, I just feel it's my duty to chime in. I read the book (I wasn't going to, but then I went and did.)

It's not QUITE as dark as ESB was, but it's certainly substantially darker than TPM was. There's a few good twists in store (especially with the whole Boba Fett thing), and the action will be excellent.

One little thing I'm worried about is there seemed (from the book) to be too many short action sequences. Hopefully it won't seem that bad in the movie.

Oh, yeah, and with the way Ep2 ends - Ep3 is going to make Ep5 look like it's a bright, shining jewel of a happy movie. (-:

I wait with bait-breath. No, wait, I think I screwed up that phrase. [grin]
