Hello everyone
so i finally finished making music to start making my own mod :nod:
but i need to have some feedback on the music! :confused:
So far i haven't made any missions but i have put the music on the original ones that came with retail. just to test them out :rolleyes:
what i need is a few people that will test it out for me before i get into mission and weapon making.
well im uploading it and hope i get some constructive criticism
anyways i wasn't sure were to post this but oh well :ick:
(oh and P.S i wonder if anyone can guess were the music is from i will make a readme crediting the people who actually composed the songs)
one last thing the missions are the first 7 or so that come with retail.. i did this just for the good ol times and that yes the music is at a very early develoment stage its just for "shows"

Woah dawg, you should change the title a bit. You've got a VP with old missions set to new music. This'll be interesting.

although it is still just like a practice tho so now im making it more smooth with the help of a friend that does music and whatnot...

Hmm, an RPG, and some sort of Space themed game come to mind... maybe Descent or a FF#?
Songs have a good bit of energy, and are good by themselves! Would be perfect for any mission, in my opinion.

ok ill reveal where i got the music from on the 3rd and final release...
and dam!!!! u are right bout the genre!!!!! rpg!!!! i worship u for getting that right lol
but ill reveal a secret all the songs kinda cant weave together that well if they are alone if you know what i mean although im trying to fix the enemy arrival music now so it flows better.....
still it will be like 3 more days until i release the second one with its own mission
oh and if you guys were wondering..... the title of the campaign will be 13th reflection and will include 13 mission each based on an ecentric character with their own message animation... so i say with the music out of the way ill be 1/4 done.... then ill like advertise it on the forums or something

as my studies kinda have a priority

Yeah, the songs I listened to were "Big Band" or orchestral, very typical for RPG's and games that require a "big atmosphere."

Take it from me, Grades are far more important than mod's while your in school. Get your HW done first. :p

I didn't play the missions, I just opened the VP and listened to the music.

Darn it! I'm gonna be slightly delayed now, thanks to decent network: manager tools because i cant download the latest anibuilder... :mad: :mad: :mad: so i cant make any new ani files for message and command briefing animation and i tried all avi functions and they didn't work but!!!!! that doesn't mean I'm stopping :D
:sigh: but if anyone knows an alternative please tell me
apart from that i think ill be finished with the second release of the music maybe by tonight! but you have to excuse the 2 second pause between tracks im using that 2 second work around and untill i can find someone who can explain how to calculate spm and the nm slightly better its going to stay like that sorry peeps
