Wow ! Look for the full resolution images!
A few backgrounds for FS. :D
-
:jaw:
Those are just so amazing! :jaw:
The bad thing is that they take a while to load. :p
-
Man, I just love the HST. :D
The best part is determining how these nebulas and gas glouds were formed. ;)

I agree with Grunt. Those would be A-1 Supar background textures.
-
Wait, is A-1 Supar actually being used as, a compliment or comment on goodness, now?
Damn you yung 'uns and yer recycling of old terms.

Whoops, sorry.
I haven't used that term in a while.

Looking at the "Tadpole" I started to wonder wether we have a good definition of Universe.
Maybe a good one is: Everything beyond me.
-
"A-1 Supar" is a statment to emphisise something as being absurdly beond good, generaly this is in reference to people who are overstating there own abilitys
-
Take a second look at "The Mice". It also looks like a guy holding a glowing sword. One might even say a Light Sabre.;7 (Come now it's only 10 days) Sorry, I had to throw that in there, but it does look like the head, upper torso, and one of the arms of a guy holding a sword. I'm sure the science guys at NASA just didn't want to say so.
-
Well, it could be said that just about any nebula shape looks like some familiar object. :D
-
I wonder if they'll find a galaxy thats far, far away. :D
-
OH MY GOD.
Those are VERY sweet!

They found lots of those already, and all the images we have are from a long time ago... :D
-
Yup.. Stupid time differential :doubt:
;7 Meeeeeeat!
-
It's not quite clear to me if those colorful images are pure optical, or they used filters or any color processing on them.
-
Graaah! :jaw:
Beautiful, just beautiful

They are usually filtered a bit to make them look sharper, since some of these things are millions of light years away. ;)
