I'm having a problem with in FS2 with custom missions I make (I'm have the latest patch of TBP).After several minutes of playing all the ships will suddenly become immune to weapon attacks of all types, everything shot that at them goes right through the ship without having any effect. The ships still take damage from collisions, only weapons fire has no effect on them.
I've had this problem before, always on missions I've made with a mod.It occurs more in missions with larger numbers of ships and at times has made "ghost ships" to appear (i.e. exact model duplicates of ships in the mission which are not targetable, and everything flies through them.)
I've done several searches already to see if anyone else has had this problem but found nothing rellated.Any ideas on what's causing this?

:wtf: That is the weirdest problem I've heard of with FS2. Sounds like either something is really screwy in that mod or something's wrong with your FS2 install. One thing I would suggest, update your video card, sound card, etc. drivers. Probably won't fix this, but you never know.

Oh this problem; I have also occassionally encountered this. It tends to occur when there are either lots of models in the mission or many laser effects going on at the same time. Whenever this happens, the game does not properly detect collision damage and does not render all of the laser shots, probably due to hardware limitations. (although in my experience, the limits seem to be about the same regardless of the computer's capabilities) Try removing some models (thick asteroid fields tend to be a big culprit here) and/or disabling some laser turrets on capital ships.
