The 8th of February holds the illustrious honor of being the birth date of one Jules Verne (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jules_Verne) nuff said

When I think of Jules Verne, two three things come to my mind instantly:

- Captain Nemo and Hector Servadac
- The fact that my fellow countrymen were stupid enough to translate his name and constanly use "Verne Gyula". Just imagine calling him "George Verne". Wouldn't that be stupid? I guess it is still better than "May Károly" (Charles May, for  :banghead:'s sake!).

Rant over. We should all go and read one of his books now. :)

I have versions of 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea, Around The World In 80 Days, and Journey To The Centre Of The Earth. Good books.
