Interesting experiment here. You can get Messiah Pro for $40. The typical price is $1195. The catch is that enough people have to purchase so that they can hit their target sales number. If they don't hit it, no one gets the license and everyone gets refunded. So if you're interested, buy! :) I bought the basic version as a secondary animation program to my main modeler, modo.

We're doing an unprecedented viral test marketing campaign where your success in sharing this offer will allow you and others to get our amazing award winning animation and rendering software ( messiahStudio5 ) for the unheard of price of just $10 (regularly $499) or choose the Pro version for just $40 (regularly $1195). When this experiment ends, the prices will return to normal.

I don't understand, If I buy a copy and they didn't reach their goal do I have to pay for the rest of it? Did I just waste $10? Or I just need to pledge the money and if they reach their i goal I cna buy it?

The original post is only seven sentences long, I don't know why you stopped before reading sentence #5

Can I buy 4 and resell three?
-
'twould be nice if I could have this, so I'm definitely hoping that people follow through and actually buy the damn thing.

Well they got me for the Pro... maybe I can animate some cutscenes for FringeSpace with it in the future..
It's almost done btw... about an inch left to go.

With a name like that I was hoping for amusing religious humor. You disappoint me, thread.

Got one pro license. I'm contemplating getting another 3 for reselling later, but I'm unsure if it's even possible or legal to resell a license - since they're issued to one's personal name. Don't really speak legalese so the terms of service agreements might as well be in klingon as far as I'm concerned :P

I bought a linux and a windows version. If its legal to sell ill just sell the windows version.

Looks like the linux version runs through wine. That's kinda lame.
