This (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zuDtACzKGRs) is hilarious on its own, but add the fact that I am currently learning German 18 hours a week... Mein Gott :D
-
I was expecting this was going to be some sort of parody of Das Boot!
-
Well, to the Nordic eyes even the Germans themselves are a great source of unintentional comedy.
And yes I'm fully aware that it likely holds the other way around too. That doesn't make it less funny, though.

Well, the song would be a good theme song to a Hollywood remake with Adam Sandler :nervous:
-
@ Video: Meh.

I loled

Lucika, learning German isn't easy and I am German. But those vidz won't help you much as it gives a wrong impression of how to speak German. I wonder anyway why you want to learn it. At least I wouldn't if I had a choice.
Wie dem auch sei, viel Glück! Du wirst es brauchen. ;)

Well, obviously. I've started it in September so hopefully I am beyond the level when one looks for this video as aa guide. :D It was merely hilarious.
You wonder why I'm learning it? We have a language year in our school and I dislike French, I've learned a bit of Spanish before so I wanted to learnn something new. Add to that that the German teachers of the school are exceptionally good and...
...das Haus hat schnell gebaut worden müssen. :D
-
They would surely like to see this at the Oktoberfest - well at least younger people who give a damn what others think about them :p
But for gods sake - not all germans are bavarians ;)
Still kinda funny and the beat is catchy lol
-
That's not entirely true. Bavarians aren't Germans!
Lucika: When you had just the choice between German and French, you're quite screwed, because both languages are hard to learn. I'm speaking German since 23 years and even I don't understand it perfectly, because it's full of stupid rules no one really needs imho. Though, writing it is harder than speaking.
By the way, it should be: Das Haus musste schnell gebaut werden.
-
"Das Haus hatte schnell gebaut werden müssen." ginge im Prinzip auch - klingt aber dämlich :D
Well, okay. Bavaria isn't really a part of Germany, that's true. But my mommy lives there - so I'm forced to visit it from time to time ;)

Well, I also could have taken Spanish but again, I didn't want to. Maybe later :)

Yep, should be werden instead of worden because we have a modalverb  (in that case, it is perfect in Perfekt (haha I am so not funny ))

Damn you, Lucika.

Junge, du wars't wohl zu lang auf Montage?!? (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5h9QW-9G7H4)
Try that one for some East-German slang ;)
