Title: yet another arduino based open source gaming platform

ive been playing a lot of hackvision (http://nootropicdesign.com/hackvision/) games on my arduino (i dont use the hv hardware), which had only supported very retro games like pong asteroids and tetris.

now there is gameduino (http://excamera.com/sphinx/gameduino/index.html#gameduino), which is in the form of an arduino shield with an fpga based graphics/audio processor. which is pushes graphics capabilities up to a 16 bit era equivalent game system (despite running on an 8 bit mcu). its only a matter of time before we have open source game consoles that can outperform commercial consoles.
