Title: Two Worlds 2

Just got a hold of this game, and I'm trying to like it, but the gameplay just seems so bland -- The attacks feel automated, the combat controls frustrating, and the graphics are very nice. Also, I can't run now for some reason. I used shift to do it, but now shift doesn't work anymore, and so I have to toggle running on and off. So is anyone else getting a weird vibe from this game in every aspect?

As Yahtzee put it, it's a name that just screams "I wasn't expecting a sequel." ;)

Dunno, I found the game quite charming. It's everything Oblivion should have been.

There's exploration, the world is large - you can ride horses, teleport around ,sail boats..

And it beautiful. New Ashos is a particularly beautiful city.

I found combat fun..each weapon felt different and had different special moves. Polearms and two-handed swords really felt powerful and useful.

The Magic system is just twisted (in a good way). Shower of Anvils + Hurricane = a torando of anvils around you. :drevil:
The waterwalking spell...or the 7 mile jump one. Frak, you jumped like 500 meters into the air with that one!

My personal favorite is the homing, rebounding spray of lighting blots that cause a firestorm on impact!!


A spray that summon several creatures (Scapulari rock b.t.w.) + Eye for An Eye (reflect damage).  FUN!
