So, how much is BF:BC2 before and after the sale (in UK or USA)? The site redirects me to the local version of the store, but I'm more interested in comparing prices between two countries.

Weekend deal for Bad Company 2 on Impulse: $9.99.  North America only, though.  Only thing stopping me from buying is the fact that Impulse says the version available for download is 1.00 and not the most recent version.  Does BC2 include an auto-patcher with it?

Impulse is the glitchiest POS I've ever had the displeasure to work with. It hard resets my computer after 5 minutes of downloading.  :blah:

Never had any problems with it myself.  It does use IE to display stuff from the Internet though. :blah:

If I can get  BC2 off Impulse and have a fully-updated copy that will let me play online, I'm getting it for $10 less than Steam's price of $19.99.

No idea, I imagine so since the game updates itself though.

Is "I want to save money for Battlefield 3" an excuse?

Jesus Christ Battlefield 2 is a terrible game. How did I play and enjoy this game I must have been so stupid  :blah:

Maybe the issue is the fact that the servers are split between KARKAND INFANTRY ONLY 24/7 NO ITEMS FIVE STOCK FINAL DESTINATION and 'jets'
