Title: How to look for a particular post in a large thread
Post by: Marcov on March 12, 2011, 12:38:09 am
How can I search for some specific post within a huge thread (e.g. "A celebration of FreeSpace") without having to scroll through all the pages?

Thnx.

Advanced search > "Show results as messages"

Not quite what you are asking but HTH.

Frankly I can't remember, so is it possible to view at least all my posts in a specific thread?

Go there, hit Ctrl+F or whatever your browser has to search for the thread title, and see what you get.

The SMF search functionality defaults to searching within the current topic when viewing a topic (hence the amazingly-aptly-named button "Search Topic" in the top-right).
