This was created by slowing one of my ideas down by about 400%, while decreasing the pitch by half and reversing the song after applying faint reverb, along with some other weird adjustments, including the doppler effect at the beginning. Then I imported it into FL studio, added more reverb and put the drums in (which are done in groups of 3 measures to keep them at a weird off-sync).

That bit at the beginning sounds like it would make a very spooky and/or silly beam charge-up noise. :p

If I sped it up and modified it, it might work fairly well, but it'd need an equally spooky/silly beam FIRING noise :P

Interesting, reminds me of the Anti-mass spectrometer in the opening sequence to Half Life.

It does sound really cool though and a loop of the last half,starting around the big peak at 1.11, would make good in mission music for FS
