didn't realy know where to post this but here it is

I was wondering if there are any german members of the community out there that could give me a translation of the word space (not space within a room but outer space) from english to German.

Much appreciation in advance.

Nur für das Wort "Space" oder wie jetzt :confused:

Space = Weltall, Weltraum, All, Raum, Platz, Stauraum

...und was auch immer es noch für Wörter für Space gibt...

Sonst noch welche Fragen und wünsche offen? xD

Only for the word "Space" or something else :confused:

Space = Weltall, Weltraum, All, Raum, Platz, Stauraum

The latter things are what he didn't ask for - because that's space e.g. inside a room or a car.

But I'm also interested what for you need that translation :)

I like the sound of the German air force luftewaffe, so I thought why not the weltwaffe or something similar. If this is a stupid idea or it is insulting I am very sory and apoligize.

In german, the term "Raumflotte" (Space Fleet) would be used, "Weltallwaffe" just sounds stupid. Reason being that "Waffe" means weapon, therefore the first thing one would think upon reading the tem "Weltallwaffe" would be "a weapon that works in space".
