Title: See thru textures?
Post by: QXMX on June 06, 2001, 01:16:00 pm
Ok, I've got the conversion problem licked (Thanks Bobboau  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)), and now I've moved on to texturing.  Whenever I place a new ship into FRED2, I can see right through it to the textures on the other side????  What is causing this?

The normals are flipped.

Woohoo!!!!!  It works.  The ship creation cycle is completed, using an extracted aeolius.  Didn't save the textures right tho(my fault, I'll have to redo it).  Thanks to everyone who helped: Bobboau, morris13, Setekh, Wildfire, Night Hammer, Kazan, Yopknons, Snipes, Max Sterling, Grey Wolf, Aldo, JarC, aldo, wEvil, Thunder, and Phreak.  I hope I didn't forget anyone      (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)

It's wierd tho, white textures are partially transparent      (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/spineyes.gif)

Again, Woohoo!!!
