Interestingly, TaS anticipated Inception by 11 years, considering how many dreams Bosch woke up from...

Also, Bosch Beer appears to predate HLP (I found it in the first post of a newbie who joined on 1/31/2001) so it must have arisen on the VBB.  I've PMmed Max Sterling to see if he can fill in the back story.  In the meantime, users can add a comprehensive list of all the places Bosch Beer is used as an Easter Egg. :D
