Okay, before anyone starts complaining that this should be made PM, I'm making this explicit since I want more than one person's attention.
I already PM'ed karajorma on this, but the same reply...same reply. "I don't know, I wasn't really involved in the ban" and stuff.
The problem is, you have a small chance on your bet that the person you will PM right now even knows about the ban...so that's why I'm making this publicized again so that I can have everyone's attention.

22:30:37 You are banned from the channel #hard-light
Yeah, I'm quite frustrated by this. It just keeps saying that; forgot when I mentioned about my ban in the HLP, but it should be around 25 days since. The mods say the ban should be over in a few days, but it's more like nearing a month.
you most make an update
Thanks.

Given that you got yourself banned from GenDisc since then I don't think you've given anyone any reason to unban you.

Pfffffff, Iamzack has been banned longer

1. Yes, there will be complaining that this should be handled via PM. You were banned from #hard-light by a channel operator. There aren't many of those. Many people at HLP do not IRC, do not know about the situation and (most likely) do not give a ****. Complaining to them doesn't help the cause.
2. Even though people from HLP are on #hard-light, the two are still separate entities. If there is conflict in one, don't try to drag the issue into the other. Especially repeatedly.
3. As was mentioned, you were also banned from General Discussion. Have you thought that maybe you just have a tendency to get banned? Maybe you're doing something that gets you banned from places? Maybe you could change your behaviour and therefore stop getting banned?
Locked. Use the Force PM, Luke! Or a better option: wait for a month or two, then approach the person who banned you from #hard-light via PM. Explain how you (hopefully) understand that your former behaviour was wrong, how you've learned your lesson, how you will behave better from now on and will be a productive member of the community.

To be fair to Marcov for posting this here, however, this boards title states "Support for the HLP website, forums, wiki, and IRC channel." (emphasis mine).
The rest of Jeff Vader's points still stand however.

Whoops. :nervous: When did they change that?
