I just reinstalled FSO from Turey's installer. It's been about 2 years since I've played it and it looks like some really awesome improvements have been made. The first campaign I started off with was Blue Planet. Very high quality campaign by the way! However, I couldn't seem to get the rotational (Z-axis) of my Joystiq to work in the campaign though. I'm using a Logitech Extreme 3d Pro. It works fine when I calibrate it in windows and when playing the regular FS2 campaign. Does that axis not work by design in Blue Planet? It kind of cuts down on the sense of freedom you are flying around in space.

That's really odd. There should be no substantive differences in control input between stock FS2 and Blue Planet. What kind of function do you have mapped to this axis?

Yeah, I forgot that FS had its own key binding interface. I went into the plain FS2 campaign and the Bank Axis was set to "Joystick RX Axis". I checked in the BP campaign and it wasn't binded. I just binded it and it was good to go. Thanks!

actually, i think that that axis isnt even bound by default.

The only axis I know of that (at least on my Saitek X-52 Pro) doesn't automagically bind is the Absolute Throttle axis.
But, mileage may vary. Glad to hear that it sussed itself out.
Be aware thought that if you were playing Antipodes builds, or originally played under an Standard build and then went to an Inferno build, some binds may not transfer properly, this is really the only occasion that I can think of where binds -could- be lost when switching campaigns.

Yeah, thats the one. No idea why i thought the z-axis was wrong... -.-
