Title: An old project....

Any of you remember this old dinosaur?

She's finished!

Thats a test render of the weapons system.  I haven't written up a set of stats yet but I can tell you that she's a mere 1.4km long but has more than enough firepower to handle anything the Shivans can throw at it. :D  Its hull is covered in a dense organic armor and surrounded by an energy shield. (best of both worlds :D )

I'm still figuring out how to do the main gun effect.

It doesn't make use of jump nodes.  It moves FTL via starburst (Think Farscape), but its destination isn't random!  The course is plotted via navacomputer (think SW when jumping into hypserspace) and then the ship literally "starbursts".

Interesting... and I agree with Thorn. It looks similar to the Drakh design from Babylon 5.

That looks pretty nice overall, although the textures look too colorful to me.

You know, you're the first person to bring that up.

heh!

They are similar somewhat....

To be honest, I made this ship design up totally at random.  Didn't use anything for a 'template'.  Just put in what I thought would look best at the time.
