What you just clicked on :p
I had a liking for trying out all the vegetation around my garden, as well as some plastic, raw metal...
As far as "meat" dishes go, a teaspoon of lamb's brain is probably the oddest thing I've had.

You're effectively the "Exemplar Essayer"
I tried some cat's kibble one time :nervous:

I'm missing my favourite seafood dish lately :banghead:

Piftie - traditional Romanian pork meat jelly. Served cold. One of the least appealing things I've ever eaten in my life. :)
Recipe for a slightly fancier version here: http://foodlorists.blogspot.com/2008/12/piftie.html

Eaten a handful of these before. Taste way better than they look. :D

True england meat pie with 3 sorts of boiled vegetables that all tasted the same - like mud. Worst cuisine ever. My friend claims to have eaten ram's testicles (She's from a very small agricultural village and quite whacked, i think she wasn't kidding)
-
Ants. Cat kibbles. Hibiscus flowers. Sea grapes. These little hard fruit-like pumpkin things that grew on the bushes. Gnips (pronounced by some locals as "ka-nips"). Um...barracuda.
EDIT: Oh oh and English meat pies and fish and chips. Rather good food.

Getting a "403 forbidden" on that link.

What the ****? That's weird, try this one. (http://karencheng.com.au/images/coolgardie03.jpg)

Chocolate covered ants, Deep fried Locusts, Scorpion vodka, snake blood vodka. Raw rabbit, worm omelette. . . . . . Powdered ummm............stuff.

oh christ god, dicks i can handle but maggots
-
I've been quite sheltered so the weirdest thing I've tried is fried chicken feet.
They don't look that edible but once you taste them they're absolutely fowl.
-
Soylent Green
-
Roasted silkworms. Boiled silkworms. Wood. Putrified shark. Snails.
Avocado, artichoke, and goat's cheese salad was pretty weird too.
-
Hmm.
Dog, lamb, snake, sharkfin, turtle, various bugs, snail, frog, sparrow, duck, rabbit. Tripe, chicken feet, cow tongue, chicken feet/liver/heart/stomach, cow tongue/liver, pork colon/liver/blood/tongue/heart/face. Duck eggs, century egg, various fish eggs except real caviar. Probably missing quite a few that I just don't remember.
All true. Guess what my race is.

French
(since when is lamb weird?)
-
I wasn't aware the french dined on dogs.
Lamb is up there because I just did a mental dump of the things I have eaten. I think it's in the same conventional tier as pork/beef/chicken, so ignore that :P Then again, things like duck and various cow/pig organs can be common cuisine for where I come from, so those aren't weird in the slightest to me, but might be for others.
-
Pork Colon?
:ick:
I forgot to add shot glasses. I've eaten no less than three in my army drinking days. I've been told i ate more during my "blackout period"
-
Eating dogs is :(
I lived in Korea for about 4 years but didn't have any. That I know of.
-
Pork colon (http://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&biw=1753&bih=924&q=%E8%82%A5%E8%82%A0&gs_sm=e&gs_upl=8649l45815l1l29l17l0l0l0l1l346l949l2-1.2&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=isch&source=og&sa=N&tab=wi) is delicious. Do not diss.
How do you eat a shotglass? Whole? Like, "oh, hey, a shot glass in my toilet" whole? The alternative is breaking it up, and is undoubtedly lethal.

Then there is this Easter Dish

Uhhh. Wut.
-
Surströmming. Most Idiotic dare I have ever agreed to.
-
Oh forgot something, I had cow's blood mixed with cow's milk too.
-
That sounds kosher.
-
You people all scare me. :shaking:
(Weirdest thing I've ever had was probably a piece of kielbasa dipped in chocolate.)
-
Surströmming. Most Idiotic dare I have ever agreed to.
:shaking:
Can't come anywhere near that. Weirdest thing I ever tried was eating a cicada during our 17-year Brood X cicada outbreak... tastes like crunchy gooey asparagus.
Yum.
-
I had a colony of mealworms once. I was raising them for personal consumption, but in the end I gave up. It's easier to go vegetarian than raise your own meat.

It wasn't the taste. Dont get me wrong, it tasted terrible, but the part that sticks with me was the force of the smell when you opened the can. And since we were idiots, we opened it in an enclosed cabin.
Oh god.
-
The shot glasses were indeed rendered fragmentary before consumption.

Most difficult thing you will ever eat: http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_913i6e5Kxmk/SomQ127aLBI/AAAAAAAAAa8/LAelc4dR1dc/s400/technique_diagram_big.jpg
-

(nsfw btw)

cant say i go out of my way to eat things that are wierd but i once took a bite out of a still beating deer heart.
-
Sheep's eyes. Cow intestines. Dog hotpot. Congealed cows blood. Mongolian fermented horse milk wine.
Dog was actually quite good. A friend and I are tempted to travel to a nearby city simply because they offer dog tacos. :p
