Hey there, i just finished up breathing life to my new tool :)
ASUS M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3
AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition
CoolerMaster VORTEX Plus
ASUS ENGTX560 Ti DCII/2DI/1GD5
KINGSTON 8GB KIT DDR3 1333MHz CL9
SEAGATE Barracuda 7200.12 1000GB
SILVERSTONE SST-PS04B Precision
Win 7 HE 64-bit
Because my old workhorse died (blown the IDE bus) :( It will be remembered. Any suggestions for games i should get? I had to stay on older stuff because the new wouldn't run on it (Hell, even MediaVPs 3.6.12 were too much) and i totally dunno what newer stuff is out there :) Friend mentioned i should get dragon age and i caught myself drooling over the battlefield 3 trailer, anything else?

Dragon Age Origins and Awakening
The Witcher and The Witcher 2
Bulletstorm
Crysis
Medieval 2: Total War Gold (with Stainless Steel and Third Age mods)

Mass Effect 1 and 2. If you like RPGs and sci fi you should love both games. Ditto on Witcher and Witcher 2. The latter is easily one of the most gorgeous looking games I had the pleasure of owning.
I'd skip Dragon Age 2 in your shoes. Dragon Age Origins was good though.
If you like racing and rally, Dirt 3 just came out. Only saw the trailers so far but it looks gorgeous, is all about rally, and supports trackIR so the main components for a good racer are there :)

Lots of cool stuff on Steam I bet... What kind of games do you like?

To be honest, i've been rotating FreeSpace, W3, Minecraft and AoK, so what do i know :D That's why i'm asking, if i knew what good was up there, i'd choose myself. Also spent some time on Train Simulator, but that gets boring even faster than minecraft... I like sci-fi and fantasy in general, totally failed to have fun with half life and portal though. I'm definitely going to try crisis, that seems like cool stuff.

Then you should definitely check out Mass Effect I guess. It will suck up tons of time if you let it... but I wouldn't recommend Dragon Age 2. Way too many "wtf is happening" moments.

I heartily recommend the withcer for the "Oh ****, I did that" moments so happily integrated into the storyline. It's got the choice elements that make RPG's so special nailed down awesomely.
