I have not played this game in years, but I am thinking about playing again. It was and is the greatest game ever for me. My first and best game.
I have a quadcore with Vista 64.
Nvidia card 9800GT
Sorry if this is a bother. I am new and old at this.
Just askin"

Hi Chesti, what you posted of your setup seems pretty identical to mine, and FSO works great here. Just make sure to update your video card drivers!

Vista is Windows 7's overweight, mildly autistic twin brother. He can do close everything his brother can mentally, just he is slower and needs more encouragement and positive reinforcement. He isn't the best looking individual ever, but getting to know and become close to him is still rewarding in its own right. And he still flashes some of his brothers good looks. But when it comes down to it he is still fat and retarded. The point is, yes FSO runs perfectly on any Windows XP or later MS OS. 64 or 32 bit. Some are just better then others. An insulting, yet accurate, analogy IMO.

Except for Vista post-SP1 not really being that much slower than 7.

Is my old game disc's Ok to use, or should I down load from the site metnioned here?

They're the same games. So if you have the original discs and they work, by all means use them.
