I've been watching this awesome documentary of World War 1 for days and wanted to ask if anybody here knows a good documentary of World War 2? Preferably something that shows the whole conflict, not just key battles.
Take a look at this one, you wont be disappointed:

World at War. 26 part (I think - there're a lot of parts) english doco. It's awesome. Made in the 70s, so a lot of it is interviews with veterans and stuff like that.

As the article says, no mention of the Enigma machine, but put that into the context of what you watch, and it's still a great series.

QFT.
Not only is it a great series, but the opening sequence (specifically the music) really stuck with me when I first saw it. Always gives me chills.

I enjoyed Britain at War in Colour (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PQqt1UcY-w0) although it may be too Britain-centric for what you're looking for. Lots of narration of letters and the imagery is striking.

Apocalypse : The Second World War (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apocalypse:_The_Second_World_War)
Amazing on Blu-Ray. The sound make you feel YOU're on the battlefield...
EDIT : Trailer (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b3TS7HUzVDY).
