Title: Starwalker, A Good Read.

Just something I thought some of you might be interested in.  It's told mostly from the perspective of the ship's AI, which isn't exactly... normal.  She still pulls off some incredible CMOA's, but the story is more character focused than action.  Heaps of "What measure is a Nonhuman" in this.  And it managed to keep me engaged for the whole thing.  Sadly (or perhaps not so sadly) it is still in progress, but there's a few days worth of reading there, assuming real life manages to pull you away from it once or twice.
EDIT:  Changed the link to the first page.  Note that the first page is very short and is not an indication of the rest of the story.

It's pretty much "d'awww" so far, but I'm not too far in I don't think.
Up to the Dustbunnies.

Yeah, it has lots of "d'awww".  When was the last time you wanted to hug a spaceship?

I stayed up way past my bedtime reading this. It's pretty good, though I was very disappointed with the big secret of the AI's history. Kind of ruined it for me.

Yeah, the secret kind of put me off at first, but I was okay with it because
Spoiler:
She wasn't really Danika resurrected so much as an AI with a few bits of Human thrown in
