Ummm...you have to practice how to graduate? What, is your school like, uh, retarded? :D
-
Be nice. ;)

I am being.
You don't wanna see me when I'm nasty. One person still doesn't speak to me much at school, and it was 2 years ago. :D
-
Our grad. practice took place for less than an hour on the day of graduation and it went pretty good (short graduation too... world record time 40 minutes :D ).
Congrats, d00d!
-
Do you mean the ceremony stuff? I thought you officially "graduate" at the end of the last day of school. :p

No wounder! If you used the same language as you did in Derelict, I wouldn't talk to you either.
Anyway, school sucks here! :snipe: :headz:
I have finished all the basic term tests and now we will even have oral exams and possible second round (just like the first one) of brand new exams.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!
When the **** will it end!! :mad2:  snipe: headz:

Get drunk for us on the graduation party... whatever you call it over there. :D

Why the hell do people go on and on and on about the language used in Derelict? It was NOT, IMO very extreme at all. It was tame. Go onto any school playground or watch any modern movie with a rating and then tell me that the language in Derelict was extreme.
When I was writing the scripts for my parts I didn't use "the 'f' word" at all, or anything similar. The worst was probably "holy sh*t" which was said once, I think - and would only offend if you were religious, I think.
Besides, some people have said that a little...colouful language seems more realistic - how do you think you'd react to the events in the campaign? I realise that little kids might have access to the game, and that's why we kept the language toned down. They know it all already anyway, and you can't shield them from it for long.
Rant Over. :mad2:

Hey, I liked the language on Derelict. A lot more realistic, indeed. :)
-
Yay! A fawning, compliant fan (and co-worker on MT, but don't let that cloud your judgement, ahem... :o)

Hee...should see the stuff I'd write.......I'm a Scot, - swearing is in my blood :D
Beside which, what certificate is a sweary movie, anyway - 15? there's not that many members under that age here, IIRC.

Yeah, I got Scot blood in me to.. Last name is Iverach, and I curse a lot too...
What would you be saying if this huge death black ship appeared in front of you? I'd be screaming and cursing like crazy...

I'm not a Scot, but... uh, you wouldn't want to be around me a lot, if you would be religious person. :p
Then again, I swear only 1/2 of the time. The rest, I go around making chicken noises and speaking about bulldogs.

If you're old enough to download and install Derelict then you're mature enough to handle the tiny amount of bad language there is in it. Period. Why certain words are "naughty" is another discussion, and one has to admit that there's very little logic behing the taboos over certain words.
Oh and Good Luck in Whatever you want to do Snipes

Understatement of the year.....

Derelict language is sure tame... didn't even notice any swearing in it... some poeple would be scared if i was talking to them ( and if I was angry even more I guess... ). You should read Trainspotting

Watch a Guy Ritchie movie....
