Title: Freespace 2 Forums Webring..
Post by: LOA--Auger on May 15, 2002, 07:05:11 pm
Greetings HLP..

Since most previous Freespace2 and Squadwar webrings are currently non-functional, we've started a new Webring just for Freespace 2 forums and we're looking for new members. This ring is for all forums related to Freespace 2. Squadrons, Mods, ect.. Any forum can join and all are welcome..

Here's the URL:
http://fs2ring.legionofapocalypse.com/

Hope to see you on the list..

Sorry, man, but it's going to be all squads, because, except for maybe two MODs, HLP, VWatch, and F2S (I can't think of any others) the other MOD's/campaigns keep an EZboard, and want it only used for private things, so no one else can find out (like mine)
EDIT:

Well there are more Squads then Mod groups.. thats just the way it is. However the ring is for ALL freespace 2 forums, not just squads. If you choose not to join then thats your choice, nobody is forcing it on you.

If you have something agienst being in the same ring with a bunch of squads, then there's another reason not to join. I thought you guys might recognize the benefits of being part of a webring that actually functions, as all rings previously created no longer exist.

looks kinda cheesy, specially at the bottom of this professional looking forum... I think HLP has enough members and traffic going through it... but thats just my opinions... not the admins...
