From what I read in the original release thread, people couldn't run the mod, not even with the update posted on the last page.

[EDIT]But if you have the retail version up and running, you will hopefully be able to play the mod.

As you saw in your The Lightning Marshall thread, the FS Upgrade Project is busy. If you want to fix the compatibility issues yourself, then good luck with it.
