Title: Backgrounds for the Ship Lab?

If I remember right there were some screenshots in the Celebration of FreeSpace thread with a dark blue nebula and starfield as a background for the Ship Lab, if possible what would I do to get a background applied to the Ship Lab?

I don't think that's actually possible (if it is I don't know how it's done) but I know env mapping is specified by cubemap.dds
