Title: Big Interplay sale on GOG
Post by: Mongoose on June 20, 2011, 03:13:59 pm: Just as a heads-up, GOG.com has a 50% off sale (http://www.gog.com/en/promo/interplay) on all Interplay titles for the next two weeks. That includes FS and Descent, of course, but also good stuff like the first two Fallout titles. I think I'm finally going to grab extra copies of Descent and FS myself.

I've got a Visa gift card too. But every time I try to make a purchase with it from GoG, the charge gets declined. If your purchase with the card works, can you let me know how you did it?

Post by: sigtau on June 20, 2011, 08:58:57 pm: If you have a confirmed paypal account, you can add the gift card as a credit card and it won't attempt to charge it to verify your identity. If GoG accepts paypal, that should work no matter what.

It actually looks pretty nice with the texture bumpmapping! This was the first game that I can remember that did bloom before I knew what bloom was.
