Title: For better subspace travel...
Post by: Styxx on June 08, 2001, 09:47:00 pm
Well, I know you all wonder: why didn't  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/v.gif) add subspace missions on Freespace 2? Why did they leave that dent on the subspace model? Why?

Well, I can't answer your questions, but i can give you a solution. Fixed models for the susbpace effect can be found through this link:
 http://dl.fileplanet.com/dl/dl.asp?3dactionplanet/freespace/new_subspace.zip (//"http://dl.fileplanet.com/dl/dl.asp?3dactionplanet/freespace/new_subspace.zip")

I hope it's useful. Any complaints about it, talk to me and I'll gladly ignore you. (just joking...)  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/biggrin.gif)

It may be an idea for some peeps to post it elsewhere. I take it you don't mind if I put a copy on my site?

There were 673 people downloading, with a max of 500 at a time. Now thats what I call peak hours.
