Title: Truespace Alternatives
Post by: Petrarch of the VBB on May 17, 2002, 02:04:56 pm
Since my thread about dowloading TrueSpace2 got nowhere, and f2s is being useless, does any one know of any decent free- or share-ware 3d design programs that can be used for FS modding.
Don't mention 3DSmax or i'll burn you.

Blender, free and good(or so I've heard, I hate it myself :D ) And no, I can't give a link where to get it. Anyway, you'll need truespace to add hierarchies those models, I think Truespace 1 can be found to download, though you have to do some tricks with that.

Oh yeah, now I remember a link: http://www.google.com ! :D

trueSpace will always be the king!! :D:D

I've got TS 5.1 and now that I can cope with it, I love it! I used to hate it - however I did have version 1 back then!

I don't know why no-one with program making capabilities can't make a Blend to FS(2). Blender files have almost the same stuff as Cob or SCN files. Anyway Blender good for the modeling part and tS good for textures and converting....for now anyway. PM me if you want Blender 'cuz I can't find the link.
